Before working in finance, Chloe spent five years in hospitality learning people skills, resilience, and adaptability under pressure. But, before even that, she had no clear sense of direction. After dropping out of university, she found herself jumping from job to job, unsure of what she truly wanted - not because she lacked ambition, but because she hadn’t yet done the deeper work to understand herself or her purpose.

During her time in hospitality, she began serious self-development - reading, studying modern career strategy, and listening to podcasts on positioning, CVs, and confidence. 

Determined to change direction, she mastered modern job-hunting through CV strategy, targeted networking, and deep mindset work that helped her rebuild self-belief and career clarity.

That shift led to three simultaneous job offers from HSBC, Metro Bank and British Business Bank plus the clarity to pursue a bigger vision.

When Chloe joined HSBC, she was mentored by a Commercial Banking Relationship Director who helped her build a practical, repeatable plan for clarity, career growth, and wellbeing.

The combination of mentorship, strategy, and mindset gave her the confidence to start Her Wisdom - built on the belief that women don't just need motivation, they need mastery. That conviction later inspired her debut book.

During her time at HSBC as a Personal Banker, she also served as a People Leader for her market, often acting as the voice of reason between clients and colleagues.

Chloe realised coaching alone wasn’t enough. What was missing was a space that blended mentorship, education, community, and strategic career development all in one.
